The present terms and conditions apply to all course registrations – including those done electronically over The Holistic Alternatives web site.
Age requirement Learners must be 16 years of age or older to join any short courses and 18 years of age and older to join any of the accredited courses.
Attendance certificate – a certificate of course or program attendance is awarded to participants who have completed / attended complete training as well as participated in the practice sessions.
Short course admittance - only those participants (further “clients”) whose course fees have been paid in full would be admitted to the course.
Accredited course admittance - only those participants (further “clients”) whose course fees have either been paid in full or within the accepted instalment plan would be admitted to the course.
Student obligation – students are obligated to follow, within the courses, the code of ethics during all live sessions and on all the forums.
Students are obligated to accept ‘The Code of Conducts/Ethics’ upon registering for the accredited courses, after which they will need to fill and submit the Application form in the Introduction session
Course Fees – what is included - The Holistic Alternatives makes best efforts to ensure that in all our courses and programs, learners obtain the best outcome from the education provided by us. For this reason, each course includes all the required courses materials, handouts and supporting documents and videos which are provided to course participants included in the cost of the course.
Payment - The Holistic Alternatives is offering either a one time payment for the accredited IFPA (non-Massage) Clinical Aromatherapy course or partial payments as below:

Short course registration -your registration will be fully effective only after the payment for the course has been received by The Holistic Alternatives in full. Students will receive a payment confirmation by email which will then allow the student to enter the course.
Accredited course registration - your registration will be fully effective only after receiving the initial payment (or full payment if you choose to do so). Students will receive a payment confirmation by email which will then allow the student to enter the course.
Changes to a course – even though best efforts are made not to make any changes to courses or programs, The Holistic Alternatives reserves the right to partially modify at its discretion the course and program content or trainer despite its best efforts. Conditions oblige to do such modifications or such changes are required for improvements of course or other elements of learning environment.
Suggestions and Complaints – all suggestions and complaints shall be sent to us electronically to our administrative department through the feedback section once you have logged into your account whereby we respond to all communication in the shortest applicable time. Intellectual property – all education materials provided on our courses and programs to participants can be used for training and educational purposes only and cannot be reproduced or shared without obtaining The Holistic Alternatives’ written consent.
Applicable law – any type of disputes and its settlements are to be handled in accordance with the applicable laws and regulatory framework of the United Arab Emirates.
Terms and conditions – present terms and conditions may be updated or changed to be in line with applicable requirements and professional standards. In the case of such updates or changes, these would become effective from the date of its publishing on our web site.
Cancellation and refund – To claim a refund, learners should send an email to accounts@theholisticalternatives.org irrespective of the course start date, attendance and/or registration status.
Refunds can take a minimum of 4-5 business weeks to be processed from the date of the emailed notice submitted by the learner.
Please note refunds can only be refunded back to the original payment option. The currency of transaction is the currency you initially paid in excluding bank charges.
The learner should note that non-completion of the course material or assessment is not cause for a refund claim.
All refunds and transfers are at the discretion of The Holistic Alternatives FZ LLC and are subject to the below schedule.
